Welcome to our August newsletter. This month we focus on our entrepreneurial programme as we close
one chapter and open another. God bless and stay in touch.
Entrepreneurs Trained
It has been an incredible journey with the six entrepreneurs that joined us in April.
From their training, weekly support groups and mentoring, they have travelled a long way
in their businesses. In early August, the support meetings came to an end, signaling the
end of the structured learning part of Living Way's entrepreneur development programme.
The baton has been passed to the business owners and they are motivated to take their
businesses to new heights.
The group has been challenged about many different things during the last few months.
When asked what the most important thing that they have learned, they answered:
To work with the Lord
No matter how big my dream is, it is achievable
I've learned that business is a skill that you really need to work hard at to obtain
the best results.
God, not me, owns the business and I am accountable to him for every decision
Business comes in different forms and everyone has a talent for different things
Above every little thing we do, God is the one above and he is the one who gives us the
knowledge to run our businesses
We celebrate with these entrepreneurs as they face the business world. We believe that
they have the skills and tools to achieve their dreams. We also linked our entrepreneurs
with a microfinance institution, Act of Grace, which has already provided some of our
entrepreneurs with much needed capital.
The next set of entrepreneurs joins us on the 15th September for their training.
This group will be bigger, with 15 small business owners taking part. Our hope for
this group is that Living Way would be a ladder for them to reach their own dreams for
themselves and their businesses.

Points of prayer
For open doors - that as we approach pastors regarding our programmes,
that God would bless the relationships that are built
That the right entrepreneurs would be part of the training in September
What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to
hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the
ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.
Saint Augustine
